WinnableClaims is a free, educational site for veterans, built by a Navy veteran. We accept a small number of sponsors whose products or services genuinely help veterans and their families.
Where sponsors appear
- A clearly labeled "Sponsored" spot on the site
- A labeled sponsor mention in the Anchors Aweigh: Plan of the Day newsletter (sent only to subscribers who confirmed their signup)
Who we won't accept
To protect readers, we don't accept sponsors that:
- Charge or arrange fees for preparing, presenting, or prosecuting an initial VA claim, which 38 CFR 14.636 prohibits. That includes unaccredited "claim consultants."
- Ask veterans for VA.gov, ID.me, or Login.gov credentials
- Offer pension poaching, benefit "buyouts," or high-cost loans against benefits
- Make medical or legal claims they can't back up
Our promises to readers
- Every sponsorship is labeled. Sponsors never write or edit our guides.
- We never sell or share subscriber emails.
- Guides keep citing the rule they rely on, sponsor or not.
